About Emanzini Adventure Camp
This fun filled adventure camp lies in the colourful surroundings of Vrede in the Eastern Freestate, perched on the banks of the Vrede Dam. The camp is set in the authentic Cultural Village, safely in the grounds of the Emanzini Country Lodge. Our objective is to give children a wonderfully exciting school holiday camp! Our staff are fully qualified field officers and camp leaders.

Accommodation
Authentic giant African Beehive Domes; Nomvula for girls and Zanemvula for boys. Spotless bathrooms with hot & cold water.

Safety
The entire camp is enclosed by the typical Zulu Kraal, all camp leaders & directors are with children at all times, child/staff ratio 15/1, 24 hour medical assistance is available.

Emanzini Country Camp is set on the banks of the Vrede Dam in the adventurous surroundings of the eastern Free State only 1 and a half hours from Johannesburg. Stunning scenery with large, safe open air living and outdoor classrooms. Over 100 different species of birdlife with abundant fauna and flora. The Langberg mountains offer supervised hiking trails and many caves to explore.

Our Objective:
Offer activities to promote team work, skills development, build confidence and trust.
Fun filled learning to create awareness of our natural heritage.
Improve farming skills while at the same time providing fun and freedom to enjoy environmental education.
To challenge the mental skills of the pupil's problems solving techniques and leadership abilities.
Social demands on our children are rapidly increasing in today's society.

Accommodation:
Nomvula Camp
for girls sleeps up to 50 pupils with separate ablution facilities.
Zanemvula Camp
for boys sleeps up to 50 pupils with separate ablution facilities.

There are chalets with own bathrooms, and fully equipped kitchen, for 4 adults or teachers accompanying the children. All the accommodation is in rustic bush surroundings.
